Do you want to become a professional engineer in Newfoundland and Labrador?
Mark Fewer, the registrar of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL), is coming to Memorial University to give a presentation outlining what steps students need to take in order to become a professional engineer in this province.
He will speak at 12 p.m. in the staff lounge of the Engineering building, EN4004, on Thursday, Oct. 13. Mr. Fewer will cover many important topics and will provide insight into the career of a professional engineer. Refreshments will be served following Mr. Fewer's presentation and admission for the presentation is free.
The event is organized by the Engineering Graduate Students Society (EGSS), a student organization founded in 2002 with an aim to support the graduate students in the Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science at Memorial University of Newfoundland in an academic and social capacity.
EGSS works closely with the university Engineering faculty, as well as other student bodies in the best interest of the engineering graduate students.
