Engineering student Michael Morgan wins inaugural video contest

The Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science held a video contest during the fall semester in which current undergraduate students were asked to demonstrate with an original video presentation how they felt about the engineering program at Memorial University.
Each video entry had to include answers to the following questions:
- What is Memorial Engineering?
- What does Memorial Engineering mean to you?
- Why did you choose MUN Engineering?
- What do you like best about Memorial Engineering?
The winner of the inaugural engineering video contest was Michael Morgan, who won free tuition for one term for his efforts.
"I tried to do something a little different. I used shots from around the engineering building and from events engineering students took part in, such as the Baja (the Baja Society of Automotive Engineers International Competition)," said Mr. Morgan. "I wanted to show what the engineering program is to me; the things I enjoy about it and the interesting challenges it presents."
