Electrical engineering academic programs

Our comprehensive program will instruct you in the areas of electrical and electronic circuits and systems, control systems, electromagnetics and antennas, power systems and electrical machines, communications, and computer hardware and software.

In recognition of the considerable diversity of careers available to electrical engineers, you are encouraged to choose from a wide range of elective courses. These include computer networks, digital signal processing, power electronics, antennas and propagation, communications electronics, power system operation, control systems, telecommunications systems, and robotics.

You may also choose to pursue offshore oil and gas engineering options in your last three terms of the program. Such options include courses with topics like supervisory control, data acquisition, process control, instrumentation, and reliability engineering.
