Engineering Graduate Students' Society (EGSS) is a student organization, founded in 2002 with an aim to support the graduate students in the Faculty of Engineering & Applied Science of Memorial University of Newfoundland in academic and social capacity. It works closely with the university and faculty authorities and other student bodies in the best interest of the engineering graduate students. EGSS also arranges various activities like weekly coffee clubs, get together and trips to enhance social interactions among the students. This executive arranges and coordinates the executive committee meetings. He assissts the president in all matters regarding smooth running of the EGSS activities. In absence of the president, he takes over as the acting president.
- to record the minutes of all meetings of the executive and present them for approval at the following meeting.
- to maintain all correspondence for the EGSS and to cooperate with the President in the conduct of the business of the EGSS.
- to notify all members of the time and place of meetings and to provide them with an agenda approved by the Executive.
- to file all minutes, correspondence and other records pertaining to the EGSS.
