HYDROTECHNICAL ENGINEERING – EN7716

Spring 2005

Engineering 7716 - Hydrotechnical Engineering - is an extension of Fluid Mechanics towards practical engineering solutions. The course is organized into two parts: (1) some aspects of fluid mechanics related to gradually varied flow and unsteady flow, and (2) selected hydraulic structures (spillways, energy dissipators, surge tanks, hydropower plants). Three sessions are scheduled in the Hydraulics Laboratory.
