Bo Liu obtained his B.Sc. Degree in Applied Chemistry from South China University of Technology in China. He then got his M. A.Sc. Degree in Environmental Systems Engineering and Management from Memorial University of Newfoundland in Canada. He is now pursuing his Ph.D. Degree in Civil Engineering (Environment).
Bo Liu’s research interests is on the nano-material based remediation process to remove the persistent organic pollutants in water and soil. The related areas included “photocatalysis-enhanced photo-oxidation in wastewater treatment”; “ozonation of PAHs in offshore produced water”; “remediation of PCBs contaminated soil by nZVI dechlorination and biosurfacant aided soil washing”; and “oil spill monitoring and remediation”.
