Kedong Zhang obtained his B.Eng. degree in environmental engineering from Ocean University of China in 2012. Then he worked as a research assistant in Beijing Normal University in China for six months. In September 2013, he started pursuing his M.Eng. degree under the supervision of Dr. Baiyu Zhang. His research will mainly focus on the development of biosurfactant-based dispersants and associated technologies for offshore oil spill control in harsh environments.
