CE 8700 Project Course Awards Presentations, 1998

As a part of the final semester (Term 8) of the Civil Engineering curriculum at Memorial University, students are required to enroll in Engineering 8700 - Civil Engineering Project.  The Memorial University Calendar describes Engineering 8700 as: At the end of the term, the papers are submitted for evaluation, and each group must present its project to a committee of engineers, usually made up of project clients, as well as professors of the faculty.

On April 22, 1998, after the Iron Ring Ceremony, two awards were presented in conjunction with the 8700 project course: The W. J. Campbell Award for Best Overall Project, and the CSCE Prize for Best Project Presentation.
