Reginald A. Babstock
 
Reginald A. Babstock joined the firm of Newfoundland Design Associates in 1966 after obtaining his Bachelor of Engineering,(Civil from Nova Scotia Technical College (now part of Dalhousie University). He progressed through the ranks from Junior Engineer, to Associate, to Vice-President, and finally to his current position as President.
 
Mr. Babstock has a wealth of experience in the field of municipal engineering and regional services including many significant water and sewer projects throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. In addition, he has participated in industrial parks and industrial site developments, including Donovans Industrial Park, Mount Pearl, Nfld. and the Newfoundland Dockyard, Marine Elevator and Transfer Facility. He served as the Design Manager of the Terra Nova Expansion, a 1.0 million-barrel expansion of the Newfoundland Transhipment Project.
 
Mr. Babstock is a long-standing member of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering and the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland.

Gary J. Follett

Gary J. Follett is President of FGA Consulting Engineers, a firm he founded in 1983. He has practiced as a Consulting Engineer for 20 years and is widely recognized as one of the most prominent Welding Engineers in the province of Newfoundland.

In 1975, Mr. Follett obtained a B. Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland and joined the firm of McNamara Industries Limited, becoming Chief Structural Engineer and Welding Engineer. In 1979 he joined Bishop & Forbes Limited, now BFL Consultants Limited rising to the position of Vice President and Director of the civil/structural department.

Mr. Follett has served the engineering community as President of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland 1991-1992, Chair of the APEGN Professional Development and Education Committee and he was bestowed the APEGN Award for Service in 1996. In addition, Mr. Follett was recently elected President of the St. John's Board of Trade.
