    Call for Nominations: Canadian Society for Civil Engineering Memorial Student Chapter (CSCE-MUN) Executive Positions
    The Canadian Society for Civil Engineering Memorial Student Chapter (CSCE-MUN) was founded in 2012 with an aim to strengthen the bond between undergraduate and graduate civil engineering students, and to enhance networking between students and civil professions in academia and industries in and outside of Memorial University. The chapter works closely with the CSCE NL section (chaired by Dr. Bing Chen) and the national office, hosting and facilitating various activities such as The Popsiclestick Bridge Building Competition, Capstone Design Competition, national lecture tours, information sessions and seminars. The CSCE-MUN president will join the Atlantic Region Chapter Leaders Council representing MUN and interact with Chapter leaders in other universities and plan multi-chapter events. CSCE-MUN is seeking nominations for the following positions in the executive committee: Vice President (GRAD).
    Major duties of the CSCE-MUN Vice President are but not limited to:
    1. Vice President (GRAD)
      • - Assist president in all matters regarding smooth running of activities
      • - Take president’s responsibility when he/she is absent


    Eligibility:
    1. Applicants must be part-time or full-time civil engineering undergraduate (including work term) or graduate students at Memorial University
    2. Applicants must be a registered CSCE student member. Student membership online registration can be found here

    Executive members will be selected by the current committee and CSCE Faculty/Student advisor Dr. Joseph Daraio. Interested candidates are required to sign and complete the application form and E-mail the scanned copy of the filled form and an up-to-date resume/CV to jadaraio@mun.ca.
