You may need a simple scientific calculator for all quizzes,
the mid term test and the final examination.
The following features are prohibited:
Calculators that have a calculus button similar to
are prohibited.
Do not bring such calculators to quizzes, the mid term test
or the final examination.
Doing so may constitute an act of academic misconduct, for
which the penalties can be severe.
If you believe that your calculator does not give you an unfair advantage, despite possessing one or more of the forbidden features, and if you wish to receive an exemption for your calculator, then please see Dr. George at least three days in advance of any quiz, test or examination.
The Casio fx 991 ES calculator and the Texas Instruments TI-36X Pro Engineering/Scientific calculator have been granted such an exemption, as of 2021 October.
